Video Content: Basics of porting VST to AU plug-in format

Here is a very very basic intro to porting VST code to AU format.  It is an addition to the ‘AudioUnit processing buffer structures’ blog that I posted a few weeks ago. The video hits on the most basic structure points and bare minimum requirements. While it is by no means all inclusive (just the very tip of the iceberg really), the intent is to provide a starting point for programmers who are familiar with the VST 2.4 format, but are unfamiliar with how they relate to AU structure because hey… you have to start somewhere.

If you are unfamiliar with OSX and the XCode IDE and need to learn the basics of setting up the environment, as well as what you need to download from Apple, etc… please refer to my previous ‘Intro to AudioUnit Programming’ videos.
